Study of the effects of Physical Therapy on people with Fibromyalgia
Researchers from the SHARE (Health and Humanities Acting Together) project are conducting a study about the effects of non-pharmacological treatments (physical therapy) on people with fibromyalgia.
It is expected that this treatment might help control the pain, reduce tiredness and increase the capability of doing day to day tasks.
Treatments will be run at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal's Escola Superior de Saúde or at the head office of Myos – Associação Nacional Contra a Fibromialgia e Síndrome de Fadiga Crónica (according to participants' preference).
Participation is free and bound by vacancy.
Registrations for the first groups run until March 31st 2019.
