Summer School in Narrative Medicine 2018

The Summer School in Narrative Medicine is an initiative from the Project in Medical Humanitites (University of Lisbon School of Arts and Humanities - FLUL/University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies - ULICES) and an education and training activity.

It aims to promote encounters between national and international prestigious specialists and professionals and students from health, humanities and social sciences, whose interests align this emerging and intersecting field. It has as its ultimate goal to maximize the potential of humanistic knowledge, namely literary methodologies and instruments, on the humanization of the carer/patient relationship, promoting self-knowledge, consciousness of others and the improvement of healthcare.

 

ENROLLMENT: from April 2^nd to June 1^st 2018

The enrollment process is either in person, at FLUL's Academic Division Services, or by e-mail, using the following: sa.graduados@letras.ulisboa.pt. A form with all the necessary data to validate the enrollment will be provided.

 

General Price: 300 € | Students' Price: 180 €*

*price per person; includes all training activites as well as lunch between monday and friday; does not include accommodation (participant's own account), the excursion and the closing dinner (extra 30€).
